When (W)2 become (W)1 – All change at TR

Well, we finally did it.

After 25 happy and successful years in Westbourne Grove (or Notting Hill when we were trying to impress), we’ve finally upped sticks and are now very happily ensconced in our new studio in Brewer Street right in the heart of Soho.

And what a difference a postcode makes…

Young people. Sex shops. Food markets at lunchtime. Cool brands. Traffic. No lift. And not a vegan restaurant for yummy mummies to be seen. Who’d have thought 3 miles could make such a difference?

Well, we did actually. As we approach our 30th anniversary we wanted a big change: to the vibe in the studio; to the inspiration around us; to be in the creative, beating heart of London; to simply get out and about more.

So here I am now, contemplating joining the teenagers queuing outside Palace to purchase the latest must have skater gear, eating fresh pad thai from Rupert street (streetfoodunion.com) and contemplating a massage. Well everyone thinks about it don’t they?

The move has re-energised us all and the future looks bright. Very different, but equally successful.

So, here’s to the next few years at least.
