Golden Acre Dairy Foods is an award-winning supplier of food products to the UK grocery market, with a history of developing and supplying their own new and innovative products.
Having seen a gap in the market to supply small and independent retailers with a range of high protein dairy products, designed to compete with the more established brands, we were asked to create branding for their new ‘Acti’ range.
Initially comprising a shake and a yoghurt, our contemporary branding successfully bridges the gap between existing sports performance and lifestyle brands, delivering great stand-out and excellent sales figures.
Golden Acre: Najma range
With over 4 million British born Muslims under the age of 20 living in the UK, Golden Acre Dairy Foods saw the opportunity to develop a unique ready-to-eat halal meat brand for this dynamic, western-influenced and growing market.
We were asked to develop the name and create a brand identity for this category defining range, and after a detailed market research programme and round of design development, Najma was born. Comprising a range of some 20+ products, and from a standing start, the brand is now available in all major supermarkets and is number 1 in the sector.
With the success of these product ranges, we have firmly established ourselves as Golden Acre’s go-to agency for NPD and product branding.
